Currently, that age is 14 for non-agricultural work. Your hours are restricted before you turn 16, and before 18 you can only do work that is &#8220;not hazardous&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3>What is the minimum wage for each wage group?<\/h3>\n<p>The minimum wage varies by state.
