Jacobs is seeking acandidate that enjoys a growing practice and can take that practice to the nextlevel as the Higher Education Market\. Along with being passionate about Jacobs and winning jobs, this personwill promote and provide HigherEducation facility design expertise, leadership, recognition, and market sharegrowth\. Working in close collaboration with mid\-Atlantic and Philadelphiaoperations management, business development leaders, design principals,architecture and engineering discipline leaders\. The Higher Education Market Leader shallcontribute to the profitability and sustainable growth of the Philadelphiapractice of Jacobs Buildings and Infrastructure\.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** :
+ Responsible as a "Seller\-Doer" \- developing and utilizing internal and external client networks; serving as a Higher Education design expert internally and externally\.
+ Responsible for developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for the Higher Education market sector in the Mid\-Atlantic region\.
+ Team leader for the Higher Education program, including responsibility for project delivery, client satisfaction and program profitability\.
+ Participates in client relations, sales and business development activities, including positioning, preparing proposals, and delivering presentations in interviews\.
+ Represents Jacobs Higher Education expertise and capabilities at client meetings, industry events, and in public\.
+ Provides Higher Education facility design leadership; responsible for the design and execution of quality building projects in\-line with JACOBS processes and procedures that are functionally successful, technically sound and respond creatively to client needs, expectations, budget and schedule\.
+ Contributes to and fosters a positive and sustainable transdisciplinary team working environment\.
+ Local and regional travel required; potential national and international travel\.
+ Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited university is required; M Arch preferred\.
+ Architecture licensure with registration in the U\.S\.
+ Minimum 15 years' professional practice experience with a focus on large, programmatically complex projects, including in that experience should be of practice management involving direct client contact is required\.
+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development within the higher education market sector is required\.
+ Able to effectively balance multiple priorities and possesses strong analytical, high\-level problem\-solving skills; highly responsible and motivated to achieve total project success\.
+ Adheres to the highest of level of professional performance and ethical standards; embraces candor, transparency and accountability\.
+ Actively, visibly engaged in community, industry and professional associations\.
