Computex Technology Solutions, a leading IT Solutions and Managed Services Provider focused on Data Center, Cloud, Enterprise Networking, Cybersecurity, Collaboration, and Managed Services, is looking for an Account Executive with IT sales and field account management experience, preferably with a technology manufacturer or Solutions Provider. The candidate will work cooperatively with their Solutions Engineer, inside sales team, services and engineering team, and members of the management team to generate new business and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual gross margin sales quotas while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will excel in both a dynamic hunting role for new customer acquisition and territory growth, as well as managing, maintaining, and growing business within existing customer accounts. This position will require lead generation, lead nurturing and working alongside technology partners to generate pipeline and close opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for opportunities which will have been identified either through key technology partners, been escalated from Business Development, or are part generated via new customer acquisition activity. The candidate will have a working understanding of IT solutions across the all focused practice areas that Computex supports.

  • Outstanding consultative selling skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate the Computex value proposition
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to create a business plan, build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business

  • Ability to identify new opportunities through prospecting activities including cold calls, emails, social media, and networking events
  • Ability to uncover, understand, and determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions

  • Ability to prioritize selling activities and follows through in a timely fashion
  • Ability to negotiate pricing with a focus on retaining value
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to comprehensively and accurately forecast opportunities and track deal related and lead generation related activities through a CRM
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and technology manufacturers
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned

  • 5 years IT sales and field account management
  • Annual sales targets exceeding $5MM Revenue/$1MM GP
  • Bachelor’s Degree
