The Eugene campus of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center provides interdisciplinary clinical services for persons with developmental disabilities and other special health care needs. CDRC Eugene programs and services are provided at the Clinical Services Building on the University of Oregon campus.
This is a full time clinical position within the IDD Child Development & Rehabilitation Center Eugene location.
Clinical Service (80%): The SLP in this position will provide Speech-Language Pathology diagnostic evaluation, treatment and consultative services for Spanish speaking patients of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, participating in many of CDRC’s interdisciplinary clinics. The SLP will be responsible for evaluation, team collaboration, and family feedback. The SLP will participate in follow-up treatment of CDRC clinic patients. The incumbent will also participate in clinical education of practicum students, interns, and fellows completing training in the CDRC programs.
Professional/Academic/Other Activities (20%): The SLP in this position participates in other activities appropriate to the discipline, and consistent with the mission and goals of CDRC and OHSU. Such activities include, but are not limited to, clinical documentation, consultation and technical assistance to families, community agencies and providers, serving on agency and university committees, and participation in departmental meetings and in-service presentations. Additional activities may include engaging in research appropriate to Speech-Language Pathology, including cooperative joint research with other faculty.
