Manager, Account Management

Enel X, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate need for a Manager of Account Management to join our world-class C&I Sales organization. The Manager of Account Management will contribute to the development of a world-class Account Management team that delivers “rave-worthy” customer service to Enel X’s most important commercial, industrial, and institutional customers by managing Enel X’s relationships with a portfolio of assigned strategic accounts and by managing the Account Management team itself. Specific responsibilities will include:
• Develop, implement, and manage an Account Management strategy that maximizes customer lifetime value through Customer Service, Retention, and Penetration. Execute strategy in the most cost effective manner possible while integrating with Enel X’s other customer support functions for all products and services
• Develop and implement account management team recruitment, hiring, motivation, training, and retention strategy. This includes continuous development and execution of account management staffing best practices to ensure the development of a world-class account management team that consistently meets or exceeds goals
• Manage the renewal process for all existing customers, including the development and implementation of renewal strategies that maximize profitability. Work across Enel X functions, including sales, marketing, energy markets, and finance to renew business in a timely and profitable manner while reporting regularly against renewal goals
• Working with marketing, develop and implement strategies and processes to maximize lifetime value of key accounts through account plans, regular account analysis and review, customer training, and the initiation of up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for all Enel X products and services
• Work with other departments including legal, energy markets, finance, field operations, customer care, and marketing to ensure key accounts receive outstanding service from Enel X including accurate and timely payments and nominations, accurate meter data quality, and streamlined communications
• Work to develop and integrate all account management functions within Enel X, creating a center of excellence for account management across all products and services.
• Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree required
• Proven results in current role
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• 2 or more years in customer-facing role (Account Management and/or Sales)
• 2 or more years of experience in Demand Response markets
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce.com
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with other teams
• Self-motivation and the ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• MBA or Masters degree with a financial focus
• 2 or more years of experience managing high-performing teams
• Extensive recruiting history
• Energy Efficiency experience
