Senior Account Manager

Job Summary: Will prepare quotes to current and prospective clients on electrical and mechanical repair and service work for large and small industrial motors, pumps, drives, etc. The qualified candidate will sell services and new equipment in the Augusta market. Operate efficiently and effectively with a minimum of supervision.



Required Skills
  • Manage designated accounts via CRM and conduct efforts for the domestic operations.
  • Gather information necessary to help the shop repair department and the new equipment sales.
  • Represent TAW® branding to all potential clients and work parallel with department heads as needed to increase revenue per location.
  • The ability to make outbound sales calls.
  • Travel to potential client facilities.
  • Set up appointments for face to face meetings
  • Develop a sales plan of targeted customers and industries
  • Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Plan sales work on a long-term basis by setting quotas on calls made to potential and current clients and the potential of sales for each established account
  • Prospecting of potential customers
  • Build personal and professional relationships with new and current customers
  • Prepare sales call lists and targets each week
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Maintain the Companies profit margins
  • Set up and execute company presentations
  • Have technical knowledge of the products and services TAW® offers to its clients
  • Be familiar with client’s technical needs be able to maximize company content in becoming a partner and reliable resource for our client
  • Analyze and give or relay technical recommendations to customers.
  • Must be detail oriented and follow up on assigned sales leads promptly
  • Poses great customer service and problem-solving skills while being able to effectively resolve customer complaints
  • Substantial Domestic travel with occasional overnight stay needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye, ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.).
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Report all injuries, near misses and accidents immediately to a supervisor.


Required Experience
  • 3 - 5 years pertinent sales experience preferably in generator product or service sales, industrial sales or related industries
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desired.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills while being able to effectively resolve customer complaints.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter and excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent communication capabilities.
  • Enthusiastic attitude and demonstrate responsibility and accountability.
  • Must have valid drivers’ license and clean driving as needed.
