The University of Connecticut School of Nursing is seeking applications to fill a full-time, 11-month, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor or Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical non-tenure track Professor position. This position is a joint appointment with Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

We are pleased to continue these investments by inviting applications for a faculty position in the School of Nursing.
Under the direction of the Dean of School of Nursing and the VP Nursing at Connecticut Children's Medical Center (CCMC), the faculty member will be responsible to: 1) teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses, relevant to children and/or the faculty member's research interest and expertise; 2) Participate within the Nursing Research Team to continue to develop and implement evidence based practices and research consistent with the institution's work related to Magnet® Recognition; 3) seek competitive national research funding that further supports the nursing and interdisciplinary scientific efforts at both the UConn School of Nursing and CCMC; and 4) may act as a major advisor to Ph.D. students and post-doctoral fellows.
The successful candidate will share a deep commitment to effective instruction and will also be expected to assist the University in its efforts to broaden participation among members of under-represented groups, to demonstrate through teaching, research/scholarship, and/or public engagement the richness of diversity in the learning experience, to integrate multicultural experiences into instructional methods and research tools, and to provide leadership in developing pedagogical techniques designed to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and intellectual interests. Applicants at higher ranks should possess an excellent record or research, teaching performance, and involvement in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral education, commensurate with the rank they are seeking.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
