PERFUSIONIST CHIEF - PERFUSION SERVICES
Responsible for the management and coordination of patient care, including personnel and fiscal activities on a unit(s) 24 hours a day. Develop and maintain care delivery systems and a team to meet patient care needs. Represents the interests of the department and hospital on committees and other public forums. Functions with the policies and procedures of the Health System and within the legal framework of the state.
I. Job ResponsibilityPlan for the delivery of quality care in Perfusion Services Standard:Collaborate effectively with all members of the healthcare team Maintain a staffing plan and schedule that meets patient care/unit needsEffectively manage budget preparation and maintenance, in coordination with Heart Services Finance ManagerProvide effective communication with staff and other team membersActive role with the capital equipment process for Perfusion Services
