Education & Development Coordinator

Full-time, Exempt Position

40% Education & Outreach; 40% Fundraising & Development; 20% Marketing & Promotion

Reports to Executive Director

Position Description: The Education & Development Coordinator provides support for The Hudgens learning and outreach programs and promotion, as well as fundraising and development initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate student registrations and program accounting
  • Manage online registration platform to maintain current and accurate course offerings
  • Facilitate communication to students and instructors
  • Coordinate virtual class meetings and schedules
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory and accounting of program supplies and materials
  • Ensure fundraising database is current with all donor/donation records, with timely donor acknowledgement and reporting
  • Maintain databases to track and enhance grant processes, programs, and impact.
  • Track grant opportunities, including research and accountability reports
  • Assist with research of funding, gift opportunities and development initiatives
  • Assist with writing of grant proposals and compiling required supplemental documents
  • Executes social media initiatives and email outreach, to include weekly newsletter content and assistance ongoing social media, marketing and promotion
  • Related duties that ensure a quality learning experience for all education and outreach programs, and consistent support of development opportunities

Education, Experience and Key Competencies:

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially editing skills
  • College degree preferred
