This role will lead and provide support for Ozark shop floor by assisting the departmental supervisor, while also performing daily functional/shop floor tasks or assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist with planning, overseeing, and prioritization of shop floor work on aircraft
- Lead team and provide technical guidance and assistance based on previous experience
- Monitor and report performance of assigned employees
- Provide on the job training to shop floor employees as needed
- Prioritize workload and labor efficiency in order to assist the department manager in meeting department schedules / expectations
- Assign and prioritize specific tasks
- Ensure aircraft and all applicable paperwork is complete on time and to specifications
- Assist with discovery, root cause analysis, correction, and tracking on Logistics processes as required
- Troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality
- Provide reports and status updates to interested parties as required
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with all applicable guidelines, to include FAA regulations, safety and production standards, and Textron Business Conduct guidelines
- Exhibit and promote Textron value and behaviors at all times, and provide positive leadership
- Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE
- Collaborate and contribute to the ongoing Bell Enterprise solutions
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
- High School diploma or GEDPosition requirements
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience on aircraft specific to lead duties
- Demonstrated self-motivation, strong sense of responsibility, multi-tasking skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, with aggressive delivery schedules
- Ability to coordinate with other departments and to communicate clearly with individuals at all levels of leadership
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions closely, & good organization skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Bend, kneel, twist, etc. as required in order to perform work on aircraft
Preferred:
- A&P License
