Make repairs on units in a timely and safe manner.
Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner.
Perform repairs and diagnostics on starting and charging system, cooling and re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes.
Repairs include performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporator/condenser replacements and front & rear main engine seal replacements.
Perform repair and maintenance on reefer units in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.
Identify necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.
Must be able to diagnose and perform proper repairs.
Conform to all safety and health standards.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
EPA section 608 certification required.
Minimum 1-year experience in Trailer maintenance and repair and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
DOT certified in FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes. (Preferred).
