Description:
Integrated Mission Systems is seeking a director to lead the government compliance efforts for the segment. The IMS segment (5B ann.) is a growing and highly dynamic business consisting of diverse business models, robust pipeline, various U.S. government offerings and complex entity structure across both domestic and international operations. This compliance leader will be responsible for working with division teams to ensure compliance with government regulations and cost accounting standards across 20+ business units, collaborating with segment and corporate leadership and engagements with government customers.
- Oversee and support coordination of Forward Pricing Proposals (FPP), Final Incurred Costs Proposals (FICP), and CASB Disclosure Statement updates
- Lead/oversee various DCAA audits such as Systems, FPP, FICP, Cost Accounting System, and Mandatory Annual Audit Requirements to include interaction with DCAA and DCMA regarding audit related issues
- Lead ad hoc requests and special projects regarding Compliance issues
- Collaborate with the businesses and organizational leadership on compliance topics, keeping Segment and sector CFO informed of the impact to their business as a result of current compliance audits
- Coordinate Compliance related training as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in the area of U.S. government compliance, contracting and/or accounting
- Minimum of 7 years' experience managing a team
- Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and CAS (Cost Accounting Standards).
- Experience working with DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) and DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency)
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proven proactive, self-starter with the ability to effectively lead teams
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with government customers and all levels of the business
