This role is responsible for providing assessment and treatment of behavioral disorders in accordance with established program policies and procedures. This position may provide care to various patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

The Behavior Analyst role provides behavioral services to patients admitted to our inpatient Innovations Program serving children and adolescents with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) including Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and other diagnoses. In this role, the Behavior Analyst is responsible for conducting functional assessments, developing individualized function based behavior plans and providing training to direct care staff, Registered Nurses, family and other caregivers involved in the patients treatment. The Behavior analyst is a member of the multi-disciplinary team of professionals that include Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Pathologist and Mental Health Technicians. The Behavior Analyst works collaboratively with other disciplines to develop interventions to reduce problematic behaviors as well as to teach and reinforce more socially appropriate behaviors to improve the patients success once discharged to their home and school environment. This position works 8:30-5:00pm, Monday through Friday with a competitive benefit and paid time off package. Salary is competitive with the market.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis and Therapy and/or meets criteria for National Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• Must complete and pass the BCBA exam within 1 year of the date of hire. • CPR Certified and able to perform CPR techniques
• Experience in human service including but not limited to mental health, developmental disabilities, and brain injury • Able to complete physical management training and perform physical management techniques
