Responsibilities
The Program Manager is responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations. Provide overall direction of program activities. Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization. Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations. Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.
The Program Manager will
· Act as an advisor to the customer on strategic cyber security program matters as needed.
· Provide thought leadership to enable program objectives
· Manage and prioritize all program deliverables
· Direct the hiring and managing of a top-notch security engineering/security operations staff
· Create a long-term strategic plan for identifying and implementing solutions that serve both end users and security requirements
Qualifications
Requires BA/BS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas.
Position Requirements
· Minimum of Bachelor's degree in related field
· Previous Responsibility of security related programs
· Proven ability to manage work in geographically dispersed locations
· Must have Security and/or management related professional certifications such as PMP or CISSP, etc
· Must be willing to travel as needed
