Do you think that new biological discoveries can be made from the novel analysis of existing data through developing innovative bioinformatics tools? Do you believe omics data, especially the single-cell data is revolutionizing biomedical research? Do you think computational approaches are critical in immunology and precision medicine? We develop bioinformatics tools for next-generation sequencing data analysis and Machine Learning algorithms for large-scale biomedical data interpretation. Current research interests are single-cell sequencing data analysis, machine learning for big data analysis and Omics data mining in cancer immunotherapy. Previous trainees in our lab have obtained bioinformatics jobs at top biopharmaceutical companies like Bristol-Myers Squibb.
We are looking for postdoctoral scholars who are passionate about data-driven novel biological discoveries from integrative data analysis. Our goal is to design and apply novel analysis tools and pipelines to cancer omics data to understand and cure cancer.

- Work includes group and team meetings where staff must effectively communicate progress on assigned projects
Work is generally 40 hours per week or more as needed. Travel may be necessary on occasion
- Ph.D. in relevant field
- Demonstrated interests in programming or cancer biology or genetics or immunology or mathematics or engineering
- Candidates with only web-lab experience who are seeking training in quantitative biolgy are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in cancer and immunology research, omic data analysis and machine learning
- Previous experience indata analysis using R packages
