Job Description

Job Purpose

The Business Development Coordinator/Client Care Specialist is responsible for scheduling sales appointments

Duties and Responsibilities

Learn and master the company’s products and operational procedures

Learn scripts and the skill of overcoming objections to enhance/support appointment success

Participate in various training opportunities on a regular basis

Build client relationships and establish rapport over the phone

Maintain high daily call volume

Meet & exceed appointment set/show goals

Communicate with Sales/Service to ensure customer satisfaction

Log and report all activities and interactions with detail in the dealership’s CRM

Stay up-to-date on current manufacturer incentives and sales specials

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Complete End of Day report daily

Check out with upper management before leaving shift for the day


Must meet company’s requirements for employment

Must have valid driver’s license

Demonstrated customer service skills

Previous phone sales skills a plus

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

Excellent verbal and written skills

Goal-oriented, competitive and committed

Professional appearance

Highly motivated with a desire to be successful

Effective time management skills

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Docs


Uphold a daily call volume of 80 to 100 calls per day

Complete daily agenda

Respond to all new Internet inquiries immediately

Maintain communication with all leads.

Schedule a follow-up task for each completed task

Uphold daily appointment goal as set by trainers and management

Maintain a positive attitude with guests and co-workers

Per company policy, do not engage in social media during work hours: Facebook, Instagram, personal texting, Snap Chat, etc.
