Touro University Nevada Office of Admissions is seeking a full-time Admissions & Recruitment Program Manager to be responsible for increasing and meeting TUN’s enrollment goals through coordinated, planned, and data driven recruitment practices. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and experienced in creating a seamless transition for the student from the application to the enrollment stage. The manager is responsible for meeting acceptance and enrollment goals of one or more academic programs and provides information to prospective students on all aspects of the University. The successful candidate must also demonstrate the University’s core values of social justice, intellectual pursuit, and service to humanity through their work.

The manager provides applicant support to the directors, processes candidate applications and executes the admissions process from prospective applicant through matriculation. Assist with the review of applications to the specified program, including evaluation of primary and secondary applications, personal statements, and other required materials to assist with the faculty review. Formulate and implement a comprehensive recruitment and admissions plan that includes targeted advertising, campus visits and managing the full admissions funnel for the specific assigned programs including applicants and accepted students. Additionally, this position uses independent authority and discretion and is authorized to commit the University to admissions decisions within assigned programs. The position also includes funnel management to build inquiry pools to reach established enrollment goals. Travel for recruitment events and professional development is required.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Process applications and manage the application process.
  2. Communicate via phone, email and letters to prospective applicants and accepted students.
  3. Maintain communication with prospective applicants to encourage and support completion of the application process.
  4. Independently evaluate completed files and make admission decisions based on established criteria.
  5. Serve as a liaison with other student service departments.
  6. Create statistical reports and provide analytical data to assist with recruitment, enrollment, and yield strategies.
  7. Collaborate with mid-level executives to help solidify and manage existing partnerships within healthcare systems, businesses, and educational entities.
  8. Assist with the development of effective marketing and recruitment strategies.
  9. Serve as a recruiter for specified programs.
  10. Work with senior leadership to achieve enrollment goals.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree preferred


  • Significant experience in recruitment, admissions, or student services

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to exercise sound judgment
  • Able to serve and advocate for diverse populations
  • Competency in technology computer skills; Experience with Banner, Apply Yourself, FileMaker Pro, and Excel a plus
  • Able to collect and analyze data using the results to implement future programs, plans, and strategies
  • Able to travel for recruitment and professional development
