The HANA Administrator will work on a large project team supporting the Army Shared Services Center (Army SSC) organization located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Army SSC provides capability support services to all Army Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) logistics and financial systems. Capability support includes system sustainment, sustainment modernization, and enhancement activities such as system design, development, testing, and deployment. Specific tasks include functional analysis, help desk, cybersecurity, quality assurance, configuration management, database administration, portal and support tool management, SAP BASIS support, technical services, interface/middleware maintenance, and system monitoring.
The HANA Administrator will provide HANA administration services for all applications in the solution architecture. These tasks include installing, configuring, performing upgrades, troubleshooting, monitoring, reviewing system and audit logs, patching, and administering both HANA and Oracle Databases as well as SAP components including ECC, EP, PI, BI/BW, DoE, SAP NetWeaver Application Server, NWDI, SAP CE (utilizing Java components), and Solution Manager (utilizing a combination of ABAP and Java components). Assists with the transport management activities, including manual transports between remotely separated environments. Assists with all outage activities for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. During those outages, the contractor(s) shall assist with all restoration processes and with all associated notifications and documentation. Supports the program’s planning, analysis, testing and implementation activities regarding HANA patching, upgrades, and system refreshes across all relevant landscapes.
