This clerk position is located in our Selma location with an exciting potential for advancement as a California Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacy Technician. Cardinal Health will not only pay you while working as a clerk but will sponsor your entire training, which will be reimbursed to you in full upon completion. This fast-paced training will provide a unique entry point to a career in pharmacy by providing the skills necessary to thrive as pharmacy technician and its completion within 6 months is a requirement of this position. This position requires excellent customer service skills, multi-tasking ability, and fluency in Spanish. Travel to other local UHC locations, and work an occasional Saturday in Parlier as needed is also required.

Selma Pharmacy Hours: Monday 11:00AM - 7:30PM, Tuesday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:30PM. Occasional Saturdays 9:00AM - 2:00PM at Parlier location. Employee will travel to other UHC locations as needed and will receive mileage reimbursement.

Community Health Center Pharmacy Support Clerk

Cardinal Health is looking for a highly motivated clerk to work in a company owned retail contract pharmacy. Pharmacy Support is responsible for performing clerical functions to support retail pharmacy business operations. The pharmacy clerk helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.


  • Seeking a customer and detail oriented individual with strong administrative and clerical skills to help implement and grow a new community healthcare center pharmacy

  • Must have entrepreneurial spirit

  • Must have a high degree of initiative

  • Must be self-motivated and flexible to change

  • Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone

  • Answers questions and handles requests according to policy

  • Refers inquiries to the pharmacist


  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Customer service skills

  • Previous experience with sales, register, and healthcare preferred

  • Fluent in Spanish, required

  • Obtain Pharmacy Technician license within 6 months of employment
