Job Description - LPN - Medical Unit (274842) Job Description LPN - Medical Unit Job Number: 274842 Schedule : Full-time Shift : Day Job Category : LPN/LVN Location : Washington-Everett Providence is calling a LPN (0.9 FTE, Day Shift) to work for the Dementia/Alzheimer/Placement Unit at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA. In this position you will:

• Demonstrates application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PEMC age specific care competency assessment tool
• Participates in the development and implementation of an interdisciplinary plan for patient care
• Implements nursing care based on the plan of care, as directed.
  • Nursing care is safe, competent and based on the plan of care and is performed under the supervision of a RN.
  • Follows medical staff orders, assesses effectiveness of treatments and documents patient progress appropriately.
• Uses critical thinking skills to delegate appropriate tasks to other care providers

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Current Washington State LPN License
• Completion of LPN/LVN program
• Recent patient care experience
• CPR Provider

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Long Term Care experience
