Respiratory Student

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Attending an AMA approved therapist program

• Basic knowledge of various respiratory procedures

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS

Under supervision, incumbent gains practical experience in setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment and performing or assisting with procedures used in the diagnosis or treatment of cardiopulmonary disease or illness.
