Job Overview:
The HR Business Analyst position will review customer business needs and participates in the troubleshooting, planning, design and implementation of new or enhanced systems, process, procedures and reports. Establishes standards and procedures to be used in the development of systems as well as collecting business requirements for enhancements and creating technical specifications for the Development team.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Perform standard duties such as:
- Works with internal stakeholders and SME's to fully understand requirements
- Document detailed business requirements
- Write test scripts and perform comprehensive testing
- Create instruction for end user to process programs
- Support deployment, training, and cutover activities
- Ongoing support
- Performs year-end task
- Audit systems
- Audit Interfaces
- Collaborates with HRIS Manager to ensure data integrity
- Experience in the HR/Payroll applications
- World A7.3
- E1 Version 9.0.
- Experience with SQL report writing and analyze data
- SharePoint
- Insight Reporting Tool
- Power BI Reporting Tool
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience supporting ERP Systems and projects, specifically JD Edwards E1 and World.
- Business Analysis experience is required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formulas)
- Effective communication, analytical, computer, and interpersonal skills.
- Requires understanding of interfaces with other business systems.
- Demonstrated aptitude for acquiring new technical skills in data reporting
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong aptitude for process improvement
- Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to assist others in defining their needs in a collaborative, tactful manner
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues.
- May resolve problems within established practices
