The College & Career Readiness program is looking for a Language Arts instructor, as well as an English language instructor for non-native English speakers. The program has openings in Twin Falls, Buhl, Burley, Hailey and Jerome. Instructors will work closely with Lead teachers for implementation of content. Curriculum and materials are provided and instructors will be supported by a mentoring program. NOTE: Positions are for evening classes only.



Required Skills
  1. Create a positive, professional image of College & Career Readiness
  2. Teach Language Arts (reading/writing) or English language skills in a multi-level, culturally diverse setting
  3. Manage an active, productive learning environment for adult students
  4. Become familiar with, and follow, provided curriculum
  5. Follow and submit lesson plans as required
  6. Understand program assessments
  7. Work with Intake staff on proper student placement
  8. Assist students with accomplishment of educational goals
  9. Maintain accurate records for testing, advising and retention of students
  10. Submit paperwork as required, by established deadlines
  11. Participate in staff development activities
  12. Respond in a timely manner to administrative staff
  13. Participate in student recruitment activities



Required Experience

Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred

Experience teaching adults with diverse backgrounds and cultures preferred
