Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - Milan Function: Manufacturing Engineering Title: Industrial & Analytics Engineer - 75738 Your Responsibilities As an Industrial & Analytics Engineer for A&CS Global Parts Industrial Engineering located in Milan, IL, you will, - Innovate, implement, and support solutions with North American-Parts Distribution Center Warehouse areas that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and ergonomics through process improvements, tooling, and capital investments. - Serve as the Integration Lead for AutoStore (material storage and retrieval system). Support optimization models for warehousing inventory capacity and inbound/outbound processing. - Perform Data & Analytics by creating reports and visualizations to support data-driven decisions. Locate and acquire data from existing data locations, external sources, and new data sources as needed to support analytics and reporting. - Provide support for urgent production issues , including root cause analysis and resolution. What Skills You Need - 2+ years of experience with data/reporting software, for example Power BI, QlikView, Tableau - 2+ years of experience with engineering tools and systems - 2+ years project management experience in a warehouse, production, and/or industrial environment . - Ability to work with various team members and stakeholders to generate business solutions What Makes You Stand Out - Experience identifying and innovating process improvements - Experience using an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) - Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) - Experience with various programing languages (SQL Server based software, SAS, Python, EDL, R, or similar) Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: - Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technology/Analytics or equivalent work experience.
