We are seeking a Credit Specialist to join our Rexel USA team at our Beaverton, OR location!
Summary
The Credit Specialist is responsible for setup and maintenance of customer accounts. Provides customer service to internal and external customers by providing reports, invoices, proof of deliveries, credit cards, etc. Additionally, provides regional credit teams with administration support such as lien waivers, additional ship to setup, address changes and preliminary notice preparation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Sets up new customer accounts
- Maintains a log of all new accounts established for tracking purposes
- Provides regular maintenance on all systems for changes to customer accounts
- Establishes, monitors, and maintains customer credit files
- Orders D&B and other trade reports as needed
- Assists customers with invoice copies, proof of deliveries, short paid invoices and credit card payments as needed
- Customer service and follow-up for related entity
- Order releases for related entity
- Project work and back up for other team members
- Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience
- Experience in working in a credit department preferably in the distribution industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible to changing demands
- Ability to work in multiple systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently
- Ability to manage, prioritize and meet deadlines of multiple priorities in a short time frame
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service in all verbal and written communication

- Self-starter that, once trained, can work without constant supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
