This is a position of considerable responsibility and opportunity allowing you to work on multiple projects and perform tasks with a variety of involvement from other staff members.

Responsibilities and expectations include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing technical expertise for Providence's Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and NEPA analysis team
  • Providing technical NEPA guidance, preparation of NEPA documents, and preparation of FERC Environmental Resource Reports
  • Preparing, planning, managing, and/or analysis/review of technical studies and executing other writing assignments as necessary
  • Assistance with public outreach
  • Oversight of all aspects of environmental projects including scope, schedule, and budget
  • Identify FERC opportunities through business development pursuits including potential client and potential teaming partner meetings

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or higher (preferred) in Environmental Science, or related field
  • 8 + years of FERC compliance experience
  • Experience in FERC 7c/7b filings, prior notifications, third-party EAs and EISs
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on project requirements
