Responsible for providing all Special Procedure and Cath Lab procedures in accordance with department policy and procedure as well as IDNS regulatory standards. Ensures compliance with all IEMA regulatory standards as applicable to Radiology and Radiation Protection for patients and staff in area. Responsible for ensuring department patient schedule is complete and ensures daily reconciliation of Open Order Report
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education and/or licensure requirements: Licensed (or eligible) by the IDNS (Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety) -required Registered (or eligible) by ARRT (RT,R) -required. CPR certification -
Required. BCLS certification -
Required ACLS certification
Preferred Compliant with PPD requirements
Experience: Minimum two years' experience as a Radiology Technologist.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to perform effective verbal communication.
Ability to work across all service lines and partner with key customers Develops strong rapport with Cardiologists, Radiologists and all patient care units .
