Stantec is currently seeking a full time Project Coordinator to support the transportation team. The successful candidate will be proactive, a self-starter and team player with strong communication, and time management and is interested in taking their career to the next level.
Your Key Responsibilities
Serving as office point of contact for staff.
Preparing and reviewing documents to ensure that they meet specific client requirements.
Scheduling meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
Filing per Stantec and client requirements.
Updating databases and excel spreadsheets to track and evaluate metrics.
Engagement in the process and willingness to identify process improvements to provide benefit to our client.
Other administrative duties as needed.
Complying with all Stantec and client policies including those related to safety, anti-harassment, and drug use.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Emotional intelligence to work with a broad range of different types of people, including, technical experts, government officials, and other project partners.
Strong computer skills including MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SharePoint and MS Teams.
Excellent organizational skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments.
Must be able to successfully work both collaboratively and independently.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Valid Driver's license with a good driving record.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience with 2-4 years of related experience.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
