This position is responsible for Labor & Employee Relations activities and staffing function of a unionized manufacturing plant. The position will:
Administer and interpret labor agreements and grievance procedures.
Provide support during contract negotiations.
Provide advice and counsel and managers and supervisors.
Direct the development of staffing strategies.
Organize and implement all diversity training programs.
And other generalist duties throughout the plant.
Must have relevant education/experience in Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Business or similar. 1 to 4 years of manufacturing experience. Very good knowledge and understanding of current labor laws and compliance issues.
