Introducing our free AI interview coach Prepper
For the first time, the recent advances in large language models (LLMs), alongside Adzuna’s proprietary data and expertise, have made it realistic to simulate interview questions for any job at any company, at scale.
Our new cutting edge tool Prepper allows jobseekers to prepare for job interviews by generating questions likely to be asked based on information from the job ad, as well as coaching them on how best to respond, changing the game for interviewees.
Users simply paste the job title, job description and company name into Prepper, and the tool then generates the five interview questions most likely to be asked. Users can input draft answers to practice their responses. Adzuna’s AI coach will then provide feedback scores and detailed suggestions on how to improve, helping give candidates an edge over their competition. Users can also ask Prepper to generate model answers, without any input, to help them prepare for their interview.
It follows research revealing 93% of jobseekers experience pre-interview anxiety, with the top job interview worry being not being able to answer a difficult question (cited by 41% of respondents).

The inside scoop on how Prepper works
Based on over 10 years of labor market data, the AI tool is built on a large language model (LLM), using in-built prompts to generate and review interview questions and model answers. The tool also assesses and scores candidates’ answers, reviewing each response against the skills and requirements being sought by the employer and providing bespoke feedback to help candidates improve.
We have also created three bespoke personas based on a series of advanced system prompts. Users can test themselves on three modes – easy, hard and ‘pirate’ mode – helping them to build confidence prior to interview. For example, when tested with a Delivery Driver job posting at DoorDash, Prepper provides the following questions across each mode:
- Easy: “How do you stay organized and plan your day when working as a Dasher at DoorDash?”
- Hard: “Have you ever had to deal with a difficult customer while delivering an order?”
- Pirate: “Ahoy! Welcome aboard, matey! Can ye tell me what kind of transportation can ye use to deliver with DoorDash? Arrrr!”
Companies can also use the tool as a shortcut to prep interview questions for open roles.
